I was digging and digging in my plastic ware cabinet looking for a lid. It always works that way{I'm in a rush and need to eat and I can't find a lid} Man I was all over the place by the time I found a lid it wasn't even the right size. I was famished For real I'm not kidding Here I was supposed to be leaving out the door with my handy container of food and ...I was Laid out on my kitchen floor legs and arms spread with sweat leaking down my brow FAMISHED. Anyways enough sulking.. After missing my appointment and obviously tired (and irritated) I was determined that I would never let this happen again. Oh yeah buddy I pulled out every [plastic bowl and every lid out of my cabinet. I placed every bowl with it's lid and every lid with it's bowl.Than I took a permanent marker and wrote a number on every bowl.Every bowl and lid had a corresponding number. Such as bowl # 1 went with Lid # 1.. and so on.
I haven't had a problem matching a bowl with it's lid ever since. Another tip if I couldn't find a lid for a bowl I tossed it (unless of course it was a serving bowl. lol)
Have fun you'll be surprised at how relaxing it is.

My Oh My Look What My House Threw Up!
So you all know I am a cleaner ,yep I'm always cleaning something. But I noticed my house was looking a little unorganized....... OK OK I won't lie it was A lot unorganized. Now I know it had to be bad because I NEVER ask my husband to help.(I feel like that's what I'm supposed to be doing ,You Know?) But I asked him for help. Of course nothing really happened with that . So I tried to do it alone MAN I was so overwhelmed. It's like there was clutter all in the closets,on the girls beds,in the floor . If someone were to walk in it wouldn't seem that bad but it was very unconventional for me. So I took off let me tell you I'm dedicating 1 day to just cleaning the house(and that's difficult for me cause I'm a little A.D.D) but I will try to just stay focused on cleaning the house. Also I went back to when my house was cleaner and wrote out a list to keep me on track. My sis SCHI gave me that idea { to be honest with you I was in denial , I didn't want to write out a list for the simple fact That just writing down all that needed to be done WORE ME OUT}, not kidding I needed to take a nap after reading that list. Awful isn't it Oh well. Ok some tips because I'm just blabbering on again....1.)write out a list 2.) talk to someone (we all at some point go through the same things) and 3.)Get on it ... I didn't realize how much stuff I had that I don't need OOH YEAH I'm scheduling a donation pick up TODAY ..
Have Fun!!(gotta get back to cleaning)

POOR PUPPY!!
So I awake at about 3a.m to my puppy whining it was awful . Being as that it was 3 in the MORNING!!!! I ignored her and went back to sleep. When I finally got up at 7 a.m I found doggy surprise all Over my balcony. I could have passed out from surprise (I honestly didnt know rather to scream or cry. So I grab a leash and took her for a walk oh yeah she was ill. I've noticed closer to the summer she will get sick (talking to the vet she assured me that it was normal and just let her get over it.) So I couldn't just give pup a shot and it all be over DARN. Well I gave her a nice soft bed all day so she could rest and with a homemade recipe from SCHI of rice and oats her Tummy was feeling better in No time . She is still a little tired (I would be too if all that came out of me ..lol) Here's how I made the recipe I just boiled some plain white rice Approx 1 cup, and added that along with Raw oats to her regular dog food.. Of course I have a large dog so you may need to lower the amounts depending on the weight of your dog. I seem calm now but when it happened I was frustrated , tired and worried all at the same time Image that along with the fact that I'm OCD when it comes to cleaning .Well hair pulling aside Pup is doing great thanks to her Aunties recipes.
Enjoy (BARK!)

BENEFITS OF BLOOD DONATION
If you could save the lives of three people in one hour, would you? It takes less than one hour (with paperwork, pre-screening and donation) to save up to three peoples lives through blood donation. That alone gives me such a good feeling and makes me more than happy to do it. If that were not enough, there's health benefits for you, the donor. Here's an Edit HTMLarticle from Associated Content that explains some of the benefits:
It only takes about an hour out of your busy schedule and it may save a life. Donating blood may not only benefit the person who received the blood cells but may also improve the health of the donor. What are the
potential health benefits of donating blood?
While the most obvious health benefit of donating blood is the wonderful feeling derived from giving something vital to someone who needs it, the benefits of donating blood may extend far beyond this to having a positive impact on the donor's health.
Studies have shown that, in general, Americans tend to consume more iron on a daily basis than is necessary for good health. Ingestion of quantities of iron beyond a certain quantity can promote formation of free radicals in the body. Free radicals have justly earned their reputation for causing cellular changes which can disrupt normal cell function and increase the risk of certain chronic diseases such as heart disease and cancer. This is more likely to be a problem for men and post menopausal women since women of child bearing age shed excess iron through regular menstrual cycles. If a person happens to be a red meat eater, the risk for iron overload can be even higher.
How does blood donation help with iron overload? Blood donation removes some of the excess iron which can cause free radical formation in the body. In fact, studies have shown that men who donate blood on a regular basis have a lower risk of heart disease. With heart disease being the number one cause of death in males, this is, indeed, an important health benefit of donating blood.
How can you be sure you're not giving away too much iron? Before you're allowed to donate blood, your hemoglobin level, a rough measure of your iron levels, will be checked. If it's deemed too low, you won't be allowed to donate that day. Your hemoglobin level will be monitored closely every time you present for donation and you'll only be allowed to donate every eight weeks to prevent too much iron from being removed from your body. It's a free and easy way to keep track of your iron levels. When you consider the potential health benefits of giving blood along with the joy of giving to others in need, it's no wonder the donation of blood has become so popular. An hour spent relaxing in a chair every two
months is all it takes to benefit both your health and the health of a lucky recipient. Somewhat out there someone is waiting for your generous gift of life.

UPDATE ON NUTRISYSTEM AND WEIGHTLOSS
Well, I did my six weeks on Nutrisystem, with weekends off and the end result was a total of 5 lbs. lost. That was pretty good but I didn't continue it. Like everything else there were pros and cons:
Pros:
easy to follow- I never had to think about what I was gonna eat
you eat plenty- I ate 3 meals, 2 snacks, and dessert everyday
lots of fiber-between the fiber they put in their food and the veggies I ate, there was plenty
Cons:
I refused to look at the ingredients-there's words like high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oil
It's not a lifestyle-you can't be on Nutrisystem forever and I did the plan with weekends off, so there was no Nutrisystem 2 days a week.
I had weekends off-It was a good and bad to have weekends off. The good thing is that I got a break and was able to indulge a little. I can't stay on a strict diet plan with no days off. The bad thing is since I had weekends off, I had to figure out what plan I'd follow on the weekends and after spending all week not counting calories who wants to do it on the weekend.
Well, it didn't really work for me but it works well for a lot of people. Right after I quit doing Nutrisystem my focus was just how can I get thin? Obviously my focus was a little blurry, because my goal has never been to be thin. I just want to be healthy. So after much prayer, I thought back to when I felt my best and was a healthy weight and realized that I don't have to diet. I just need to stick with foods that I know that are good for me (whole foods) and get some exercise. Now about that exercise, when I go to a gym I get bored really easy. I mean you're just doing the same thing in the same place. Well, since the weather is getting better, I can spare the treadmill and myself being bored by going on walks with my kids. You don't stay in the same place and you don't see the same thing when you walk outside. Anyhoo, I feel much better about myself and what I'm doing. I just wish that I could have saved myself some time and figured out sooner. oh well that's life. You live and learn.

SATURDAY FUN
Beau Jr. trying out police vest @ Scout Show Watching a demo of police dog training
Bakari found his sea legs
Yesterday was such a busy day for us. We signed up to walk for MARCH OF DIMES and it was a blast! A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who contributed. It was a hard 5 mile (I think they lied and it was 5 miles each way :-) walk , but for a great cause. After that we went to the SCOUT SHOW since my little guy, Bakari, is a cub scout. That's always a fun time. The scout show has hundreds of free scouting activities for the kids to do. We only did a handful, but it was still a blast. After that, we headed home for some food and rest before I had to take Bakari to a birthday party he was invited to. The birthday party was held at an indoor pool. Bakari has always been a little afraid of swimming and usually just sits on the steps inside the pool. Well, I am super proud of him because he not only played in the pool, he went down this really long and windy water slide. That pretty much sums up our super fun Saturday. Oh by-the-way, I had an opportunity to give blood at the scout show because they had a mobile donation bus set up. I strongly support blood donation. It can help to save lives. I used to donate regularly but they closed down the donation site near my house because of a lack of donors, so I kind of got out of the "habit". It was a good reminder that I can and need to help in that way.
If you're wondering why there aren't any pictures of Ariana from yesterday, it's because she and grandma spent the day with one another.

YESTERDAY'S FUN
Beau Jr. in the shirt and badge he received when he went to work with daddy
RACHELLE from over at RACHELLES PLACE had a recipe for cake mix cookies, so that's what we made. We just added the food coloring. Those cookies were YUMMY!!!
Now what could this be? It's blue and green crayon shavings for the craft we made. We melted the crayon shavings between two sheets of wax paper and cut it into a circle to look like the world.
This is a coloring sheet I found online and right next
to it is the wax paper craft.
We had a blast yesterday!!! I love to be busy when it's tons of fun. By-the-way, if you read the post yesterday, Ariana and I got the house all nice and tidy and the meal was yummy. We got lots of compliments yesterday.

TODAY IS TAKE YOUR KIDS TO WORK DAY
I'm so excited that my boys got to go to their daddy's work today. My hubby is also one proud daddy. I think he was even more excited than the boys. My dear daughter gets to see me "work" everyday, but today is special because it's just her and I. I think I am so very blessed with the best job in the world! I mean who could ask for a better boss than Jesus and my hubby has got to be the best supervisor there is. Taking care of home and family is a lot of work but it's the most rewarding job that I've ever had. I hope my love and desire for my family will be passed down to my daughter. I desire for Christ to hold the keys to her heart so that the love from Him will someday overflow into her own family. Well, it's time for her and I to do some chores and bake. That's how we're gonna bless them hard working men when they get home, by having the house tidied and a good meal and dessert ready for them when they get home.
SCRIPTURE THAT SPEAKS
These two verses really blessed me as I was reading them this morning. It's nice to just sit and REALLY think of what Christ did for us. It's so very comforting. I am so very thankful that I have a relationship with the Lord. He is so good!
I am so very thankful for God's grace and my salvation!
Mat 1:21 | She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." |
1Ti 1:15 | Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners-of whom I am the worst. |
I am so very thankful for God's grace and my salvation!

Disgusting!!
Ok So I woke up this morning and if you read our blog on a regular basis you will see that my Sis and I are a little OCD when it comes to cleaning. Well this is terrible..... I woke up this morning and I should've known because my allergies are acting up,but when I looked up in the top of my window there was a gigantic black disgustingly nasty Blob in my window(I don't know if it's mold or whattttt!!!)So it sparked a phoebia that I had as a child and needless to say I had to start cleaning. So Heres a mixture you can use around your windows (where the kids can't reach ...Peroxide / or Bleach and water) Just get to scrubbing scrub all around those windows . Tis the season Mold is on the rise Scrubba dub dub!!!
I know I am Enjoy!

MY NEW COMMUNICATION CENTER
I was reading an article in the COLORADO PARENT MAGAZINE and they had a picture of what I thought was MY cluttered fridge and what they did to de-clutter the fridge. They created a Communication Center. Which is really nothing more than a cork board with papers organized and transferred from the fridge to the cork board. In the article it states that it costs between $125 to $295 to hire someone to do that. Is that a joke?! I did it myself for SUPER CHEAP, especially since I already had the cork board, so actually for free. I'm sorry but I didn't take before pictures of my horribly cluttered fridge, I was too excited to de-clutter it. Here's pictures of my nice clean clutter-free fridge and new communication center

Prayer Bear
Ok I hate to admit this but well....let me tell you how it all began . When I was younger I went over to my grandmothers house where she presented me with what I like to call Prayer Bear . A cute little white angel bear that prays and sings.Well now the admitting part; Our daughter who is 6 Yrs old has a hard time focusing (duh she's 6) but anyways I have to pray with her every time she needs to pray (before eating, sleeping, riding in the car etc.)I have to pray with her. Well one night I was very tired and It was way passed her bed time (we went to church that night.)It was bed time which meant prayer time. I just wanted the bed to go to sleep is all I asked for, But I couldn't help but feel convicted so BING the light bulb came on in my head (PRAYER BEAR) Yes I took out that bear soooo fast and told her Close your eyes prayer bears going to pray for us and I pressed the button. OMG!! That bear had her attention she was focused in that prayer more than I had ever seen before. It worked out great for her and better for me. I got to go to bed.
GOODNIGHT! lol

IS SUPER GLUE THE NEW DUCT TAPE?
I think my hubby is having a little too much fun with the super glue. It all started when some electric mechanism on his car window went out and it would cost him $400 to fix it. He's says," Don't worry, I'll super glue it shut." I'm like WHAT?! It's almost summer and you wanna super glue your window shut. So, I just let him do his thing. I mean at least he's proactive :-) Well, now the lock on my car won't stay in un-lock position and out comes his same famous words. I just stand back and let him do what he's gonna do, because who knows, super glue may take the place of duct tape someday :-)

Learning everyday....
So I was on the phone last night with my nephew when he mentioned to me that he had gotten a crab. I was very excited being as anything he gets excited about rubs off on me(yep I'm wrapped around his little finger) So as we were talking about his crab, he let me go in the midst of hes excitement! HUMM.... Oh well so my sis gets on the phone and mentions that since she had gotten the crab for him that he had to do a lesson about crabs(how cool is that,I wish me mom would've done that while I was home schooling) But SCHI made a school lesson out of buying a crab!!!!. Yes she did it up so she bought the crab(as if you haven't established that fact already lol) but then she made him pick out everything he thought the crab would need (lesson #1) When they arrived home she proceeded to school him on the different types of crabs and what type his was(lesson #2) Then if that day doesn't seem fun enough My sis(as creative as she is) did an arts and crafts with him by making crabs out of paper plates. That really sounded like one of the funnest school days ever not only that but my nephew is now very knowledgeable on crabs. Here's a funny story: Out of all the sisters I believe I (SchII) am the ditsiest REALLY I have blonde moments. So my nephew wanted to call me back and tell me all about his crab, man he was excited So I asked him "what kind of crab do you have?" He answered promptly "Blue." Oh I got excited OMG I said Your crab is blue( with the image of a bright blue crab in my head). My nephew simply laughed and said'"No Auntie the type of crab it is ,is a Blue crab" and man he told me all about the crab.I have to admit by the time I got off the phone with him I was ready to make my paper plate crab and I even had thoughts of buying one. I really just rambled on with this post but if you had to take anything away from this I would say don't under estimate your childrens school work, for you might learn a little something yourself..
Enjoy!!

COUPON BINDERS
I was visiting some bloggers and saw that many of them had coupon binders. I looked more into it and thought that is exactly what I need. I am a huge coupon fan. My last trip to the grocery store, I used around $138.00 in coupons. It's so very worth it to take the time to clip the coupons for items that you already buy. Anyway, sometimes my coupons get mixed up and don't get used when I needed them or sometimes they expire. A coupon binder in it's most basic form is a binder with plastic baseball card holders inside (the kind you find near the front by the registers in Wal-Mart). It's so neat because you can actually see your coupons and place duplicates behind them. I'm telling you guys all of this because next week SCH II and I(AMY) will be making our own. I'm gonna see just how little money I can use but it still be nice and functional. We'll take pictures along the way. Here's a LINK for anyone who might wanna have a binder but you don't have time or motivation to make one yourself. Here's a video on how to make a coupon binder

Old Or New?
So as I mentioned in my last post my daughter and I had a spa day . It was great however I failed to mention or realize till today what I did with the nail polish. So I am not really a nail polisher (on myself) So I didn't have any new polish I just had some old sticky dark red polish , not really a color for a 6 yr old girl (you know.) So as I almost sort of pout because I just know I have to go out and buy a new color that I would never wear.I thought let me use a trick my mother taught me and add some nail polish remover just a pinch, well a pinch made it not sticky but I still felt that it was too bright for my daughter so heck why not I added some more and more Yep kinda got carried away but the color was a fabulous shade of sparkly light pink perfect for both me and my daughter. So before you throw that old polish away drop some finger nail polish remover in there I bet it works and the color is FABULOUS!!
Enjoy

What Shall we do?
So sitting at home with our 6 year old daughter I wanted to do something fun.So I asked her "what shall we do ?" I just kept receiving the same response of "I don't know" Finally success came so naturally and we had a blast! I did her hair of course but to make it fun for us both (since I love doing her hair) I braided 1 small braid in her hair and let her pick out the beads that she wanted on the braid. That was also great because it kept her attention somewhere else, while I finished her entire head. Also after that I picked out a pretty pink color and painted her nails it was extra fun for her because I let it seem like she picked out the color.LOL also I let her pick out 2 little nail stickers for her thumbs. We had a BLAST and it was so simple I can do that with her any day. We also got surprised with a game night at church where they had all sorts of games and prizes. The food wasn't bad either (and No it wasn't on my diet) But what can I say The fried fish fillets, hamburgers, hot dogs.fruit, baked beans and coleslaw were calling my name. Just remember simple activities can be sooo much fun for not only her(your child) but for You. I just let go and let her feel like she was in charge for the day..
Have Fun!.

GOAT FARM FUN
We (myself, Beau Jr., and Ariana) recently went for a visit to a goat farm. It was the most fun my son, Beau, and I have ever had! We were able to milk and feed the goats. It was a great day of just plain fun.

Pantry Tours
Ok so by popular demand here is a tour of our pantries. I find it amazing that our pantries are so similar. Also both SCHI and I realized that our pantries were not in any kind of order yet they were organized. I also find that just having some kind of order(even though it's your own) it does look neater.
So have fun and organize away Just keep like items together!
Enjoy!
As an added bonus SCHI Pantry is shown as a great model pantry. The way the pictures line up makes it feel like your standing in front of it.

3-IN-1... We're talkin' posts, not the trinity ;-)
First, I would like to say THANK YOU to my wonderful blogger friends for your continuous encouragement and advice. The comments left yesterday were such a blessing to me. Now that that's said, let's move to
Post one: IT'S NOT ALWAYS ROSES
I just want to say that the life of a homemaker is NOT always blissful and easy, nor has to be, like it may look to people on the outside. Sometimes I go to other homemaker sites and leave feeling really bad about myself because they SEEM to have it all together. I mean some ladies have 15 kids and their homes still look like a show-home no matter what, or they handle every situation without raising their voices above a whisper, and some homemakers seem to have it made because their children NEVER disobey or fight with their siblings. Well, don't you worry my friends, I will NEVER let you come away from this site feeling like that ;-) I only get through each day, or better yet, each minute, because of God's wonderful grace. I'm definitely NOT super-woman, not only is my house only really clean for 30 minutes at a time but if I'm having company over or am doing a home tour for my blog, you can rest-assure that I've spent ALL DAY cleaning and raising my voice a few times at the kids to try to keep my home in order until our guest has gotten one foot out the door or I've gotten to that last shot for my home tour. After that it's back to HURRICANE BAKER. Also, my kids do not always listen and they do quarrel with one another. When that happens we try to go to God's Word and find out what He has to say about it, or if I've really had it and can't take anymore with their behavior and have done all I know to do then I'll comfort myself in knowing that these are the Lord's kids and it's on Him now. Anyhoo, I could tell you lots of stories and give tons of reassurance that things aren't always what they seem in Blogland and that's o.k. God didn't call us to be perfect. Just do your best and let God do the rest!
POST TWO: TO TRY TO KEEP WITH THE THEME OF POST ONE- I'LL TAKE THAT ORANGE JUICE STRAIGHT
Last night I was running around the house straightening up, trying to make everything look nice for when hubby gets up in the morning. I was quite proud of myself because not only was the house in order but I had gotten through the bedtime routine with the kids and was in bed myself at a good time. So, we get up this morning and I've cooked a breakfast of sausage and biscuits (my younger sons favorite) and am feeling good about myself. That is until I turned around and saw my dear son Beau drinking out of the concentrated orange juice container.
Now why in the world would he do that? So, I stared at him for a minute and then asked, "Why didn't you just get a cup?"and his reply was, "You forgot to run the dishwasher so there aren't any cups." Well what could I say other than, " Carry on then." I have gotta remeber to start that dishwasher ;-)
POST THREE: ON A MUCH CUTER NOTE...
My wonderful aunt had given me a gift certificate for $10.00 to Kohls. How sweet! There were a few things to consider though; Kohls is a bit pricey, the gift certificate was expiring in a couple of days, and it had to be used on childrens apparel. These considerations were kind of tough. My first thought was to go the next day and buy my two year old some pretty little panties. God had it all under control. I try to remember to pray before I go to purchase anything at a store and I had. When I walked over to the little girls section, right before me were all these cute little spring dresses that were originally priced $22.00 and were on sale for $8.80. By-the-way, that ahppened to be the last day of the sale. It was a no-brainer. I was getting her a brand new dress. My younger son was there so I let him pick it out.

HOMESCHOOLING WITH TODDLER IN TOW
How in the world can anyone teach an older child while caring for a toddler too? Toddlers have sticky fingers, loud voices, need LOTS of attention, and like to get into EVERYTHING! Well, I can only share what works best for our family. First off, I try to "fill my toddler's cup" by spending time with her first. I'll read to her or get her started on an activity. I also set up "stations" at the dining room table. We have four chairs at our table, so I set up four stations. The stations usually change weekly. I may have an area to work on puzzles at one chair, coloring at another, etc... Here's a couple of pictures of our stations for this week. This week we have an area for playing with play-doh, an area for coloring, an area for putting together puzzles, and an area for cutting. We use really neat safety scissors that hardly really cut at all, but she feels like she's cutting away like a big kid. I do an activity with my daughter and then a subject with my son, Back and forth, on and on, until we're done. Which is usually by noon. Hope that can help someone. By-the-way, I stopped being cheap and bought a new camera cord, so the pics. are back. I LOVE sharing my pictures with you all.

MONTH OF MEALS
When coming up with a month worth of meals, I did cheat a little ;-) I actually only came up with only two weeks worth of meals and I intend on making everything twice. If you think about it, it's not that bad eating the same thing twice in a month. Sometimes I get caught up having not meal-planned ahead of time and making the same things three or four times in a month. Anyhoo, without further adieu , my meal plan for this month:
1. fish, veggies, hush puppies
2. pizza, salad
3. spaghetti, garlic bread
4. BBQ chicken, veggies, biscuits
5. chicken club sandwiches, tomato, onion, cucumber salad
6. burritos, spanish rice,
7. chicken salad sandwiches, veggies
8. tuna melts, veggies
9. chicken & dumplings, veggies
10. guacamole bacon burgers, baked potatoes
11. fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, biscuits
12. chicken quesadillas, spanish rice, veggies
13. chicken noodle soup, grilled cheese
14. potato soup, veggies, rolls
A few side notes; when I say veggies I just mean when I open the freezer and whatever bag of frozen veggies look good or the same thing with canned veggies in the pantry. Also, we eat a lot of ground beef and chicken because those seem to be the least expensive meats.

HAPPY RESURRECTION DAY!!!!
I am so thankful that Jesus died on the cross for my sins. I'm also so very thankful that He rose again because that means I serve a living God. THANK YOU GOD!!!! Please, if you've never accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, consider the following;
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
We all have sin in our hearts. We all were born with sin.
We were born under the power of sin's control.
- Admit that you are a sinner.
Romans 6:23a "...The wages of sin is death..."
Sin has an ending. It results in death. We all face physical death, which is a result of sin. But a worse death is spiritual death that alienates us from God, and will last for all eternity. The Bible teaches that there is a place called the Lake of Fire where lost people will be in torment forever. It is the place where people who are spiritually dead will remain.
- Understand that you deserve death for your sin.
Romans 6:23b "...But the gift of God is eternal
life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Salvation is a free gift from God to you! You can't
earn this gift, but you must reach out and receive it.
- Ask God to forgive you and save you.
Romans 5:8, "God demonstrates His own love for us, in
that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us!"
When Jesus died on the cross He paid sin's penalty. He paid the price for all sin, and when He took all the sins of the world on Himself on the cross, He bought us out of slavery to sin and death! The only condition is that we believe in Him and what He has done for us, understanding that we are now joined with Him, and that He is our life. He did all this because He loved us and gave Himself for us!
- Give your life to God... His love poured out in Jesus on the cross is your only hope to have forgiveness and change. His love bought you out of being a slave to sin. His love is what saves you -- not religion, or church membership. God loves you!
Romans 10:13 "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved!"
- Call out to God in the name of Jesus!
Romans 10:9,10 "...If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation."
- If you know that God is knocking on your heart's door,
ask Him to come into your heart.
Jesus said,
Revelation 3:20a "Behold I stand at the door and knock, if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him..."
- Is Jesus knocking on your heart's door?
Believe in Him.
Ask Him to come in to your heart by faith,
and ask Him to reveal Himself to you.
Open the Bible to the Gospel of John and read what God says about Jesus,
about you, and about being born again.
God will help you. He loves you.
You need to look for a local church where
God's word is preached. The Bible says that we are to desire
God's word like a newborn baby desires mother's milk.
Aren't you hungry to know the truth?
Water baptism is one of the ways you first show that
you have been joined to Jesus. This is an action, and actions will not save you. However, it is an act of obedience and a symbol of commitment.
The symbolism is this:
When you go down in the water you show that
You have been crucified and buried with Him,
And when you come up out of the water you show that
you have been raised to walk with Him in newness of life.
(See Romans chapter 6)
You have been born again.
(See John chapter 3)
Your body has become God's temple.
Your heart is where He lives.
Forgiveness is yours in Jesus.
And you belong to Him.
You were sin's slave.
But now...
You are a child of GOD!
John 1:12
"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name!"
THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS....
Awhile back one of the gals from The 5 Moms blog had done a post about some of her favorite things. I loved that post so much but kept forgetting to tell everyone some of the things I just love. So here we go...
Laundry soap:
I love homemade laundry detergent, not only does it work but is also a great deal money wise, but if I can afford it, I REALLY LOVE Gain laundry soap. The smell is AMAZING!!!
Bathroom cleaner:
I am so very thankful for Clorox wipes!!! It makes a quick clean of the bathroom a breeze. If I don't have Clorox wipes on hand, I'm almost as happy with vinegar and paper towels.
The bathroom is not complete without something for the bathtub. Now this product works wonders. I used to just use soap to clean off soap scum (funny how that worked!) but there's just something about the boys bathtub that no matter how hard I scrubbed, using soap or even Ajax, that soap scum wouldn't budge. So I found Scrubbing Bubbles. Works so wonderfully!!!!
Those are just a few of my favorite things. What are some of your favorites?

Resurrection Day
Let's all have fun this weekend but don't forget what it's REALLY all about-JESUS!!!
John 11:25-26
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. (NIV) Romans 1:4-5
And Jesus Christ our Lord was shown to be the Son of God when God powerfully raised him from the dead by means of the Holy Spirit. Through Christ, God has given us the privilege and authority to tell Gentiles everywhere what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey him, bringing glory to his name. (NLT)
Romans 6:8-11
Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God. In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. (NIV)
Philippians 3:10-12
I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. (NIV)
1 Peter 1:3
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead... (NIV)
Matthew 27:50-53
And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook and the rocks split. The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs, and after Jesus' resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many people.(NIV)
Matthew 28:1-10
After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb. There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow. The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
The angel said to the women, "Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. Then go quickly and tell his disciples: 'He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.' Now I have told you."
So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me." (NIV)
Mark 16:1-8
When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus' body. Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, "Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?"
But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.
"Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.' "
Trembling and bewildered, the women went out and fled from the tomb. They said nothing to anyone, because they were afraid. (NIV)

Get Creative!
Ok this is how it all started at first I was a little embarrassed but my sister (SCH1)assured me that it was a great idea. So here it is I am a TEA junky yep I can admit it I am addicted to tea. I literally have to drink a cup of tea in the morning when I wake up and at night before I fall asleep. I feel weird without my tea(hey I could be addicted to worse stuff at least tea is healthy for you.) So one day I had fixed my cup of tea and I have to tell you it was one of those days where I HAD to have it I mean I really needed this tea.So I pulled out my bag of what I hoped to be the greatest tea in the world AND the bag was ripped. I couldn't possibly make this tea now because all the raw herbs would in up in my tea (and face it thats just TOO bitter)SO a light bulb flashed over my head yeah it sure did.I wrapped that tea bag in a clean paper towel and put it in my cup. Yum let me tell you it made me some great tea. I'm telling you this to say, that Use your imagination get creative . If something's not working out MAKE IT. You can do it never start over just figure out a way to make it work and have fun with it.
TOODLES!
